Summary of Chapter 12 with the title "In need of Transportation": The sound of elvish words pulls Chopper out of his dissociation and he watches as Sanji offers his waterskin to the elven lady. “Va pellinta e kar va al san.” [You look like you could use a drink] Chopper remembers the Eladrin saying that he’s not been to the Feywild in a long time but the way he speaks makes it very clear that it’s where he’s learned the language. You can hear it in the way he pronounces his words that makes it sound like a dance, something fluid and melodic. Compared to that, the way Rasa speaks is almost rural. She’s quite tense when she pushes his waterskin back, gritting out the words, “Kar col’n sinnivi lor tel'quiet.” [Don’t be nice to me]
