it wasn't! if i were to attribute the choice for music box arrangements to any game, it would be klonoa. its storybook/lullaby aesthetic was a major influence on my style.
in fact, bobby was really influenced by kirby, which is also dream themed. so that's where the name "reverie" came from. 🙂
