It's a competition between six of the schools in the area. It's called Robotic Throwdown. They hold it every year. The kids build and program their own bot. Teams of 3-4 kids, about 40 teams in total. It's a cage match style fight, four bots enter, one bot leaves.

#robotics #battlebots Just a proud papa moment. My son and his team's battlebot took first place in their robotics competition. He has Autism and doing anything on a team can sometimes be difficult. Very proud of him. My daughter did amazing as well and took third.

Technically, Journey was the first to use digital sprites, but yes, then NARC. There was also a heap of laser disc games as well at the time, so I would have to dig into the dates.
