Microsoft #Windows11 has decided that my Microsoft-sold Windows 11 Pro license is no longer valid. And at the same time, is still valid.

Vibe-coding is going well for Microsoft.

It's still nowhere near what it should run at, but at least it is now able to saturate 1/15th of the ZFS pools possible IO. Before it was struggling to even saturate 1/2000th, barely hitting 3mbit/s at peak times. Guessing there's similar bloat that Wordpress has, but eh.

My attention span strikes again. I should've followed the entire tutorial on setting up Redis for Nextcloud. Instead I stopped halfway through as the warning went away.

Months later I figured out I've never actually added the redis section to the config. Now that I've done that it's much faster.

I can't even imagine what their costs per month must be if 3600 USD is not enough. Hope they'll be able to get the funding they need!

Twitch is requiring new Affiliates, before their first payment, to give government photo ID and a separate photo to Persona, the same Persona that has connections to government mass surveillance programs. When I asked Twitch support for another option, they said there isn't one. #twitch #persona 1/4

The last NextCloud update enabled password expiry against my wishes and since it never warned me about it, I had to fix it with alternative methods: Adjust every pwd_last_updated field in the oc_preferences database table to the latest unix timestamp (date +%s).

I miss when it was just eth0. Why did we ever drop that notation...
