Among the keynote speakers are Jean Côté (Queen’s University), Gretchen Kerr (University of Toronto), Katrien Fransen (KU Leuven), and Miquel Torregrossa (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
The event will bring together international experts and practitioners to address key topics such as dual careers, athlete identity, safeguarding, leadership, and the creation of supportive and sustainable sport environments.
The congress will focus on the role of sport psychology within complex sport ecosystems, shifting the perspective from the individual athlete to the broader relational and organizational contexts that influence development, performance, and well-being.
The XXV AIPS National Congress, titled “Dentro il Campo – Persone, relazioni, contesti” (transl. Inside the Field – People, Relationships, Contexts), will take place on 22–24 May 2026 in Rome, Italy.

Content de poder representar el @uab-gepe.bsky.social i l'Associació Catalana de Psicologia de l'Esport a la reunió de FEPSAC la setmana passada a la 1ª Jornada Científica del Comitè Olímpic Turc 😊
On Saturday, following the MC meeting, SASP–FEPSAC certified members gathered to share professional resources and projects, further strengthening the FEPSAC practitioner network.
The meeting allowed us to make progress on FEPSAC’s main objectives, with a special focus on the #FEPSAC2026 Congress in Timișoara.
Last week, the FEPSAC Managing Council met in Istanbul, hosted by the Türkiye Milli Olimpiyat Komitesi (Turkish Olympic Committee; TMOK).
We had the opportunity to participate in the first Scientific Symposium organized by the Committee together with prominent national researchers in sport sciences.
We are thrilled to announce that registrations and abstract submissions for the FEPSAC 2026 Congress — hosted by the West University of Timișoara, Romania — are now officially OPEN!
Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the most inspiring scientific events of 2026!
