One red flag for me is any time someone summarizes views of Hispanic people yet doesn’t mention whether the survey was available in Spanish. Some survey platforms suffer from problems with bots answering questionnaires. Transparency can be a problem, with subcontractors obscuring recruitment, etc.

I don’t have a specific expectation that the results will be wrong in one direction. It is just that you can get all kinds of wacky results, and we probably never hear about the polls that show less shocking numbers. The outlier results are often the ones that get shared.

Online polling is a bit of a mess, so I generally don't put a ton of stock in it unless it is from a trusted organization (e.g., Pew is great, and the big news outlets generally partner with solid pollsters). And then when it comes to subpopulations, I am even more skeptical.

They may not be exactly the same, but they should be similar. My broader impression is these are very difficult subpopulations to sample accurately, and nothing in the methodology section from Manhattan Institute suggests to me that they are being particularly careful.
