The handwringing lectures about how the left has no choice but to stay on Twitter are even more ridiculous when you remember that the far right used a series of alternative media — from direct mail to talk radio to Fox News to Breitbart to Gab, Parler and Truth Social — as their path to victory.

This is like when apologists will get their PhD in English/psychology/business/Egyptology & then use the Dr. label to teach theology. I don’t have a biblical theology expert, so there’s nothing wrong w/that, but I don’t present myself as one. Jordan Peterson’s Bible seminars come to mind.
