I want a goddamn strong statement on marijuana.

Mamdani is not only too smart to wrap himself in Obama outside a school setting, he has promised to effectively never leave New York City.
Hormuz and so forth is the only thing keeping Starmer in the chair.
Sir. I believe this belongs to you. The Mouse has it in Florida.

"Mr. Patel, do you know what discovery is?"
"Shark Week."
"Yes, but in a lawsuit -- "
"File."
"Mr. Patel --"
"File!"
Thank you very much.
Berra was a genius. He completed the eighth grade, and was self-conscious about that. He devoted his life to education. @yogiberramuseum.bsky.social is part of it. The irony, however, is his genius lay in his unconventional way of thinking. School is not always friendly to that.
You should take this back. Berra’s great sayings sound funny at first, then they make you think, “Wait a minute.” The best are like Japanese riddles.
The leaks came from clerk or clerks, or from a justice or justices directly. In scale is it a much bigger deal than the leaked decision overturning Roe.
had to reach for this tweet the literal instant I saw the article about Kash Patel in the Atlantic (cf: archive.ph/uGMLb)
The public is dumb in many senses, but if this keeps happening you can either keep calling them dumb or look at the criteria you're using.
I don't have a Nobel, but I've long said there is no mystery. When you can no longer walk into a shop and ask for a job, people sweat. A single job won't do; you need another or more. Technology eats at the margins, and if you're too young or old you might drop out of the workforce entirely.
The Americans asked her, "Have you met the Queen?"
She said, "I haven't, but Dick (her protection officer) meets her regularly."
They turned to the policeman.
"What's she like?"
He said, "She can be very cantankerous, but she's got a lovely sense of humor."
This was in Scotland. The Queen told them she'd been coming up since she was a child, her family had land nearby. She told no lies. She enjoyed it.
The context is of course different but I was reminded of the late Queen Elizabeth visiting an American housing project. An older lady rushed up and hugged her. The Queen smiled, betrayed no surprise at all. Everything is political. Everything.
The video of Leo seemingly grateful to hug the little girl, not flinching at all…
Andersen is from Seattle.
Frankze is intimating Andersen did it.
Larry Andersen, with some glee: “Guess I’m not the only one who doesn’t like umpires. A couple of umpires robbed and assaulted in Center City…”
Power is power. The Pope is unique in that he doesn’t have an army, but he has the power of having one.
Could you point us to them?
A clear warning to Vance.
Regarding Mahan, it's not a prediction but an opportunity. He's fairly moderate, with executive experience and a formidable fundraising operation. Let's see what he makes of it.
Watch Mahan in California.
There is still the feeling among some that Trump really could shoot a man on Fifth Avenue, but the Jesus business is breaking through to a lot of people nothing else has reached. It doesn’t change their politics, but it personally puts him on quicksand.
Somewhere Francis is glad he’s not in the chair. He couldn’t help himself. God help anyone who lectures a Jesuit. I’m serious.
I am not saying they don’t. And Collins is of course skilled. I only say the lines have hardened to the point that unless he has little boys under the floorboards, it will likely be close.
Anybody could be struck by lightning at any time, but if Mills had anything more than what’s already out, it should’ve been out a month ago.
A lot of people here have confused their dislike for Platner for his chances. He will beat Mills, probably Collins.
We have removed the alleged Chinese statement due to certain doubts about its authenticity. That is, there is some question about whether it originated within China rather than being attributed to it by a foreign source. But the principle stands.
