This is our biggest update yet. You can expect a significant level up in terms of stability and polish of the application. Enjoy!

Over all was very positive and smoother than past tests
- User was able to create a short scene and try out all features within 1 hour
- The application was, no critical issues that blocked the tesitng
- We did find 2 bugs, and they have been fixed already for the next release
Did a usability test today, it had been a while since I did the last one. Some quotes from the user:
- "The best part is how it is all organized... this is very clear, very starighforward"
- "If anybody wants to make a basic visual novel, this is great... can learn in one afternoon"

After been delaying the new version release for a while, I'm delaying again for another whole week.
Yes, I could wrap it and release a version, but the perfectionist habit just wants to fix it all before release, it is a bad decision, but hopefully the end product will be good.

Was working with an artists that had only a Mac. So I had to prioritize a MacOS version for her.
There were several platform fixes we had to do, but overall it was smooth, credits to @tauri.app
This version is still in internal testing, plan to release it to public once we finish with all testing.

Was talking to someone today, she described RouteVN Creator as "Canva for visual novels". I can agree with that. Similar to how Canva has made design more accessible to a wider audience, we want to make visual novel creation more accessible to a wider audience.
We've started internal testing for a new major version of RouteVN Creator. We will take a couple of weeks to make it good before releasing it publicly.
What will this verson have?
- More stability, less bugs
- More flexible and powerful animations
- Richer controls on dialogue
and much more...

I use a Linux for coding nowaday, we will have a Linux version eventually!
Renpy numbers are always really impressive. Nice to see other Visual Novel engines Kirikiri and TyranoBuilder.
Expecting Godot and Gdevelop to keep growing as well, huge potential.
I personally am fine without mini-games, it does get in the way. But sometimes it can be well integrated with the story that may improve the experience.
