I think every designer should write a love letter to a font at least once in their lifetime.
This is mine: A 150-year-old font you have likely never heard of, and one you probably saw earlier today.

Feeling grateful to be a part of something truly special. This is the most thoughtful · curious · collaborative · humble · group of makers I've ever been a part of. 🥹
Great ads!!! 👏
Working on it ;-)
The developer responded to my requests and we’re messaging now via LinkedIn. Love chatting directly with those who make the things I use. Very rewarding.
My best friend’s wedding in Pittsburgh many years ago was hosted at the same time and hotel as a furry convention (they did not expect this). The photos were great. We photoshopped a lot out. But was fun to keep some in tact.
Took up learning Piano via Apple Vision Pro over break. Super fun and surprisingly effective so far. Trying to commit to at least an hour a week for 2025.
This app lets you upload midis and will overlay them for you. Filled it with like 200 songs I wanted to learn.

Check out both the video below, and this great blog post recap of what we shipped at Figma in 2024:

So proud of this incredible team — we're shipping a ton with truly a dream crew 😍
(p.s. we're hiring for lots of roles still! figma.com/careers/#job...)
Upgraded my Vision Pro to 2.2 — a few nice subtle changes, esp for control center access, and much needed fixes for guest mode.
But otherwise… still no idea what to really use this thing for 🤔
As always, published as a community file here:

Vegan friendly
totally fair… I just… don't have the patience/time/energy to manage so many different spaces and sort of wish all designers were in the same place for shared dialog
Decided to run with the fall cosmic style in honor of @wickedmovie.bsky.social this year…
Also having fun with Google's new chess thing: labs.google/genchess —
Exploring new tools like these to figure out this years annual thanksgiving menu design…
Having a lot of fun this morning with Luma Labs Dream Machine — quickly becoming my new favorite (even static) image generator: dream-machine.lumalabs.ai
Excellent UI, great output, overall delightful experience. Hats off to @tuhin.bsky.social and co! 👏
I really have no idea how to handle this, Twitter, Threads, and LinkedIn simultaneously 🫠 — not gonna do Mastodon and would like to rule one of these others out sooner than later if I can
Maybe the answer is to scrap social media altogether but I don’t know that I have that will power lol
So far Notion and Perplexity have been fun. Only been 2 days so hard to say what else yet. Just downloaded social media onto it. Thinking it’ll be for reading and research…
I wish the form factor were smaller — typing is harder than I expected so writing is an example where I prefer other devices
Not sure what use cases I’ll use it for yet. Starting w/ “in bed reading” stuff. Notion and Perplexity are top apps for me so far.
Device feel is.. fine? Nothing too satisfying per se, the case is nice lol. Android is janky so I notice that more than hardware. Form factor maybe a little big for me?
Latency not as good as iPad but far better than eInk/Kindle. Generally smooth enough for basic tasks.
No huge defects so far in rendering? But maybe early to say.
Got my @daylightco.bsky.social in this week! Just two days in so far. AMA.
In NYC for a few days for work. I'm honestly glad I lived here for a bit in my 20s, because I can't imagine living here now. I forgot how intense it can be and now I need a nap lol. Beautiful place though in so many ways.
👋 Lots of people seem to be moving here over Threads. Just curious what the motivation is?
Happy to go wherever the friends are, and also hoping we can sit still for a while lol.
Has design twitter made its way here yet? 👀
Hello world, or whatever
Haha feeling this too. And not just a cross-poster, but somehow a cross-viewer lol, or a “top content you missed” digest across them 🫠
