…and this can be done indirectly using Google Apps Scripts (that is a Google Doc can updated via Gmail)! Maybe this feature can be added to NotebookLM...
I have been having a play and a think with using Google Docs to update NotebookLM, and thought that it would be SUPER cool if I could forward an email to NotebookLM. So I asked Gemini…

For anyone interested in the prototype local LLM I built on my computer, here is a video version of the presentation I gave on the approach to using it to conduct qualitative data analysis to support pupils with additional SEMH needs youtube.com/playlist?lis...
To support new staff I am creating a series of short videos re supporting primary aged pupils with additional SEMH needs, including de-escalation, relationship building, being the adult, boundaries & engaging pupils in learning. Pls comment with any other topic requests or areas
Over the summer I am having a big push to understand the benefits of using artificial intelligence in education. To start, I asked Google Gemini to build a beginner’s AI in Education course for me to follow. I made the course into a video, here is the link youtu.be/u8gd94w7BDI?...
Today I built my 1st attempt at a process using AI to cross reference, analyse & provide insights into the self regulation of pupils based on the 6 core strength framework by uploading behaviour logs, incident reports & other documents. I will be sharing my updates.
Prepping staff for our first GarageBand music lesson this afternoon
Hi, I am interested to see if there is a free alternative to ScratchJr that looks to support children to code and create that are aged 5 to 8 years old. Does anyone have any that have seen or currently use? Many thanks in advance for your time and help.
Here are is a link to the ScratchJr video tutorials for the projects for todays (FREE) coding session at Ware Library

I collated all the recent GarageBand bits in a blog post that also gives a bit of an insight into my thinking and approach. Here is the link mrvullo.com/2025/06/01/u...
I made the (simple) video I would have wanted to watch to just make a song in GarageBand. Watch it here youtu.be/qJHLtAcZLTE
Created an example (very) 'short movie' of a daily task (cutting the grass) to show pupils tha they can plan, film, edit (iMovie) & create music (Garage Band) for there very own movie on the iPads we have in our provision. Here is the 'movie' youtu.be/UijhFY97yKE
Here is the song I made on the iPad at the Apple Store Garage Band workshop today
Today I am off to the Apple Store in Lakeside to take part in the Garage Band workshop. I am looking to introduce an iPad based music curriculum at the SEMH provision I run, empowering pupils to create > consume. Any teachers at Lakeside today & want to meet for a coffee?
On Saturday 7th June 2025, to as part of the celebrations of 100 years of the Hertfordshire library service, I will be running a free ScratchJr coding workshop for kids at Ware library in Hertfordshire. Full details are on the photo below. Free use of tablets provided.
I was filming a video on flying the air:bit drone I made, spoiler alert I lost control and it ended up in someone’s garden….wait till the end to hear my disappointment 🤣
Obviously testing this in the middle of a tennis court with a fenced perimeter was not enough!
Wow, incredible surprise when I opened parcel from the amazing team at Make It, the makers of the Air:bit 2 micro:bit drone, they have sent me a WiFi camera to add….that is my half term project sorted!
Awesome.
This looks very cool. Is it available in the UK?
*this drone is no longer available
Very cool. I purchased a second hand DJI Tello drone and used the DroneBlocks app to connect with a simple block coding program made the drone take off, hover then land! This drone is no longer viable but I am looking at the CoDrone as another codable drone option for pupils.
Just found this incredible (free) intro lesson to micro:bit - it walks you through 8 steps where you play with the main features. Basically you connect your (or pupil's) device to a free web app. Very cool. cardboard.lofirobot.com/microbit-int...
First ‘flight’ of the Air:Bit 2 diy programmable micro:bit drone. Scrappy, mainly to my driving/flying skills, but an amazingly satisfying experience, I know exactly how the Wright brothers felt….full coding and flying tutorial video to follow shortly.
Currently testing Duolingo Max on a 7 day free trial, I am super impressed with the AI drive conversation features. It is incredible how effective (and fun) the video call and role play features are.
