Opinion | ‘Easily the Worst President in U.S. History’

Ironic that the government now wants to test drinking water for birth control and abortion meds while gleefully killing millions of adults and children. Women beware!!

Opinion | ‘Easily the Worst President in U.S. History’

The title is fitting.

A patient was being treated for Stage IV colorectal cancer. She had qualified for clinical trial, a her last-chance to slow the spread of her cancer.

Her trial was about to start when NIH funding was pulled overnight, & it was canceled.

She died.

Many more stories.

Look up his speech. The first part is, I was born a poor black kid who knew I was equal in God’s eyes. The last half is a fake history of why liberalism lead to Stalin, Hitler, and totalitarianism. It’s incredible to hear this from a man accused of being bought and sold by billionaire Harlan Crowe.

Opinion | Trump Holds the American People in Total Contempt

Take comfort in knowing that the level of corruption and grift today in the Trump administration and family is unique in uS Presidential history.

In Lin Manuel’s musical about this, the GOP should be played by mice.

I remember being in Kaua‘i during COVID, begging for wastewater testing so we could track outbreaks and protect communities. We were told it was too expensive, intrusive, and too controversial.

Now this.

Public health was never the issue. Power was.

Red cactus flowers

Cactus flowers are so compelling - maybe due to the nearness of their thorns and the threat of death from their environments.

Tesla saved $400 million on its federal taxes by shifting billions of its U.S. profits to countries with lower tax rates.

Yes: While you paid your taxes in full, giant corporations maneuvered to pay as little as possible — and it’s all perfectly legal for them.

The system is rigged.

This is a stunning report. It is terrifying to think how fragile our economies are, how f’ing dependent on oil, and how unable to respond. Then - that this has been caused by a president on a whim!

It’s for people who have surgery and/or have samples that can be sequenced. 8 of 16 responded, so 50%. Drs already seeing 38% 5-yr w/ resection. But, 80% of PDAC aren’t eligible.

I’m a scientist and PDAC survivor (so far) and optimistic there are logical approaches we haven’t tried. Wish us luck.

I’m a retired genomics/cell biologist, trying something scientifically logical but untried. Good so far - 16 months. ♥️

Opinion | I Missed the Part About the Divine Right of Presidents

Those that protest the Pope bringing God into politics clearly do protest too much. Two wishes:diversify the religious backgrounds of SCOTUS and, second, for us all to look in the mirror of Do Unto Others. Seems simple enough.

The amazing thing is that I’m not suffering. No pain since the first chemo. It’s been an exciting adventure, actually. Happy to visit about what I’m doing. It comes out of my research. It’s incredibly logical - but also exciting to take a few risks, when the alternatives were clear. Thanks, Tom

Legislative staff: please take note. This needs to go viral. Very recent talk on mis- and dis-information in the cryptocurrency world. Immediate global attention is clearly needed.
