Welcome to the game!!! I don't have much to add beyond what U_mage said, but that's really the crux of the game and what makes it so good.

I like swiss being 1's, but adding an extra round or two to mitigate some variance and going to best of 3 for top 8 would be great

Agree there's an innate power in their design that makes all three powerful, but I'm optimistic that the tools for dealing with them are improving and the design is getting more nuanced to check the power a bit.

Based on current performance, I'd say the lower multiplier allowed Gravy to get to a healthier point before accumulating a ton of points. Should also mean he hangs around a decent amount even as the higher multipliers kick in

that secondary demand from high level players wanting the non foil versions didn't help either

it is such a slick design to counter codex!
