Candy does seven things—it relieves your hunger, quenches your thirst, fills your stomach, cleans your teeth, makes you sleep, helps you digest, and colors your cheeks.
pretty song : )
I like building Walmart, I'm going to keep building Walmart, I'm going to make more Walmarts.
horseyland is animated now
also I made a 20 minute vlog thing for my Patreon where I talk about this whole experience and what it means for My Career™ + my practice as an artist, and do short reviews of all the movies I saw
you can watch it here:
Sundance was a surreal, unforgettable time! the audiences loved Homemade Gatorade :-)
The coolest Congresswoman there’s ever been.
Doesn’t it make you crazy? Doesn’t it turn your blood to fucking gasoline?
I NEED AN INTERVENTION LATER
Nazism has once again taken the technologies of violence practiced on indigenous people and Black people in the US, and re-applied it for the purpose of mass killings. Cops have done starlight tours since they got cars. The right time to stop this has been every time. It is right to stop it now.
The Trump-Vance administration just used your taxes to pay for an ICE agent to do this to a 21-year-old kid, who was only protesting because another ICE agent killed a mother of three, who was only there because ICE agents are kidnapping your neighbors
I'm in awe of the bravery of the protestors here. The coordinated effort to support and protect people is so beautiful. Here's a doc with a bunch of ways you can help:
I don't think I can fully express my anger and sadness around this. it's all so senseless and deranged. Minneapolis is home, the most beautiful city I've ever known. my heart breaks for my neighbors that've had to experience this torment firsthand
yeah this album is soo bleak.. I much prefer the first self titled but the mood + atmosphere on this one is pretty unique
there's so much wonderful Cambodian music from this time period! I got a compilation back in 2020 and wore it out over lockdown. so colorful and soulful and the recording quality has such a delightful grit. love this one:
first 2026 album I've loved.. low key rapping over beautifully unhinged beats. feels overstuffed with ideas in the best way, constantly morphing and shifting. a joy to get lost in
absolutely horrifying
He holds out a piece of paper and says "here's my gmail. shoot me a message sometime! i'd love to learn more about you and your life."
She takes the paper and says "uh.. ok. thanks.." with a strained smile.
The paper seems to have been torn from a piece of loose leaf. In chunky handwriting it says "aaronthehedgehog 80@gmail.com AKA the baby bird guy" followed by a hand drawn heart and a smiley face.
Meet Cute [3/3]
Her eyes are wide and she's avoiding eye contact. She asks "why did you.. do that?"
With a big smile he says "i saw you ordering in the restaurant and i wanted to impress you!" There's an inset image with a view of the woman from behind ordering in the Arby's.
She says "gotcha. well, i'm gonna get in my car." Her eyes are pointing in the opposite direction, still avoiding eye contact. He responds "wait! before you go"
Meet Cute [2/3]
A middle aged man approaches a woman in a suburban parking lot. It's sunset and they're both wearing winter coats. He says "ma'am!! wait!!"
She turns and asks "what's up?" She's holding an Arby's bag; they're standing in front of an Arby's.
He reaches his hand out and says "check this out" Her face looks concerned. She says "whoa, uh.."
It's revealed that he's holding a small baby bird in his hand, so young that it doesn't even have feathers. He's grinning and says "i got it from a nest over there"

❤️❤️❤️!!!
I've always assumed that my art is too gross and silly and internet-fried to receive institutional validation like this. I submitted to Sundance as a little joke to myself, like oh wouldn't that be funny. still not sure how to process this but feeling very grateful
my short film Homemade Gatorade is showing at Sundance 2026 😋 such a wonderful honor, I can’t believe it !!
big big thanks to my friends that contributed to this film, and to all my patrons that helped fund it ✨ @sundance.org
really tuff
I think Jack Bensinger is one of the funniest guys around and I love his weird new short film. Feels like a wonderfully stupid fever dream
I remember him..
