Having the 'live' embed of these resources has been great but I will now have to edit this so that the links are useable. In MS's wisdom it appears that there are no plans to update/re-release the Web Viewer add-on for PowerPoint ... :(

That being said, it will support the Stats in Maths massively, but this is only 1/6 of the Maths course.

I don’t think Stats should be seen as a subject to support A-Level Maths as Edexcel themselves say that it is a course in Statistics, not Maths. It does massively support statistical understanding of concepts required in other A-Levels however.

We haven’t dealt with this yet, however next year I anticipate that we may have this option. We have a wide variety of students studying Stats, ranging from M, FM and S (1 std) to stds studying w/o Maths.

It's a great course and the students have really enjoyed their studies. There are so many links to statistics in other A-Level subjects and to real world statistical applications.

Each resource starts off with the topic (ref my SOW), the spec links through a learning journey & then teaching slides. I've planned them for teacher use primarily but could be used by students, considering the lack of accompanying textbook I have uploaded them to Teams for my students as I teach.

As mentioned, the resources are in the style of DrFrostMaths older resources and have taken activities from DrFrostMaths legacy resources, Edexcel SOW materials, the old AQA textbook, some things that I have picked up along the way (thank you @catrionaagg.bsky.social !) and my own activities

I also created a 2 year SOW using the Edexcel (I know there is an updated one coming soon) SOW as a base. You will also find this work in the folder as well. #alevelmaths

I have now largely finished this project, bar a couple and hence would like to share my work. I take no credit for any resources that I have used. There are of course activities/resources that I have created to plug the gaps where there were very little (ANOVA for example). #ukmathschat

I set myself the task of resourcing the entire course in the form of ppts, very much in the style of DrFrostMaths 's Maths and FM resources. To start, I used some of DrFrostMath's legacy FM/FS resources so not to crossover with current A-Level Maths and FM resources. @drfrostresource.bsky.social

In my role of KS5 Maths Coordinator, a passion project of mine over the last 3 years has been to launch A-Level Statistics at my school. I successfully launched and now have two cohorts studying towards their A-Level Stats. As is known, there aren't a lot of resources out there so ... #alevelmaths

BONUS: I have an adapted version which allows for input of 'marks' per assessment - doesn't produce HQs per class; WIP will do soon and will upload and 'sky' about it!

Progressively - Cumulative progress vs target with room for teacher adjustment if necessary
And upload 'Engagement scores' per assessment period (We use our reporting data here)

Given my data set up, I thought that I have the progress data already, along with the conditional formatting. I'm sure I can produce a resource which does the heavy lifting so that teachers can focus on the interventions, not the 'identifying' - something I was focussed on any way. #edusky

At the tail end of the academic year my school updated their Raising Standards process by making Horsforth Quadrants (HQ) the central component to the process. Initially, the guidance was for teachers to manually go through each student in their class and place them on the Quadrant. #edusky
