Things have calmed down to a more manageable degree.

Oh I got flooded, but luckily we heard the leaking, got down there when the window burst open, and mitigated it to the corner of the basement with sandbags we had.

Some water damage, but my important stuff is safe for now

Totally get it! I use “lying” as there’s just no better word that I can think of that doesn’t have entire definition of what is being done in one.

Acting is acting, but however an actor makes their performance believable is up to them (lying, experience) as long as it makes people believe them :)

"I don't believe you" is a stronger acting note than you think.

Acting is lying. You have to lie to your audience that your character speaks their truth.

If I tell you "I don't believe you" when you're acting, you are absolutely going to sound fake as fuck to someone listening to your performance.

I did the adult thing yesterday; all approved and paid.
