I almost have the opposite approach - I used to be such an ass about it and refused to tell people my birthday if they asked for my zodiac sign, and "challenged" them to instead tell me what they thought it was. I still kinda do that sometimes but I make an effort to be more lighthearted with it lol

This was all supposed to be on my personal account but who's distinguishing really
Because I'm not an Aquarius, but my sister is. I'm also reading a book in which the author says "but I'm a Cancer, and we all know Cancers don't believe in astrology" which made me laugh doubly because I AM a Cancer and also the joke was really good
Tbh I just don't want anyone thinking they know me before they actually know me and this all comes from a fear of that. I said that to my therapist and they said "how very Aquarius of you" which made me laugh
It's the same way I feel about tarot and MBTI/Jungian readings. I don't think they're absolute by any stretch, but it can inspire people or at least give food for thought, so I get it. Plus it can be fun.
Just remember that people are dynamic, and they grow and change, nothing HAS to be absolute
I also know it's a serious field of study for some people and isn't just to label others, and I actually find that part pretty cool. I can't say that I really believe that the time and date of someone's birth defines them, but I understand that it's deeper than that for people and that's fine
I'm a firm believer in the Barnum/Forer Effect but I'm trying to be more polite when meeting people who want to talk about astrology (as long as they're not blatantly profiling and putting me into a box) because I know it means a lot to people and I should drop the disdain I've always had for it.

I started reading Witch Hat Atelier in exchange for my partner reading Lackadaisy - both things that the other has read, and both things that we've been interested in respectively but haven't actually put aside the time to start. I'm barely into volume 1 and I already adore this manga

I should've known that simply changing one character wouldn't stop bots
I know I'm being dramatic and I can just not use the feature, but I'm wary because now I'm gonna be thinking it's training some model on private conversations. And it's only showed up once but I really don't want it advertised to me all the time like everything else does
I've already been iffy about telegram for a while, but my visceral reaction to the popup in my chat window telling me I can write a better message with ÃI has pushed me much further down the timeline of transitioning away from it
Step 1: Square pixels. Illustration: Cozy Storytime. A witch reading a storybook to bunnies and birds inside a cozy cottage adorned with books and flowers.
Step 2: Upscaled with xBR algorithm. Illustration: Cozy Storytime.
Step 3: Manually painted over to restore detail. Illustration: Cozy Storytime.
Step 4: Used Filter Forge to process the image, with the filter "Pixelate" by Vladimir Golovin. Illustration: Cozy Storytime.
Process I used for non-square pixels:
1. Create pixel art with square pixels 😆
2. Upscale the art. I used the xBR algorithm
3. Paint over to add details (since square pixels cause aliasing)
4. Process with a shader or filter. I used the Filter Forge plugin for Photoshop
5. Done!
Buncha paintings uploaded, took me long enough to get these scanned

Happy Trans Day of Visibility! 🏳️🌈💗💙🤍
An illustration of my OC, Egg the Trans Raccoon (a blue, pink & white raccoon with a trans-flag-striped tail) laying down and looking at a small flower. They’re also wearing a flower crown in the colors of a trans flag. The illustration is soft and it says “grow into your best self” over Egg.

I have a bunch of mini canvas paintings I wanna photograph/scan so I can share them on the internets
I didn't mean for this account to become all of me talking about games, but I forgot about my personal account LOL
Buggy in that there are some awkward graphical things that sometimes happen, and like the music can sorta break if you move too fast between game states, but nothing game-breaking (and there's an unstuck option in the menu if you do encounter a glitch like that)
At least watch a playthrough, I know RPGs are time-consuming - the combat and exploration is genuinely fun but the little details in the story are what you really don't wanna miss. Sometimes it's kinda buggy, and the grammar maybe needs a bit more proofreading, but that's really it for cons.
The amount of personality, charm, and attention to detail continues to surprise and delight me. I love every character, every kingdom is so well thought out and the whole game is clearly a labor of love. It's scrappy in the best way and I'm not even trying to pull a joke by using that word
I've said this here already, but I implore you, play Kingdoms of the Dump
I'm all for figuring things out on the fly, it was just blocking progression a little too much for me to spend enough time learning how stuff works. But I have perhaps excessive patience and/or determination with this stuff
I'll reiterate that literally my only issue with all the changes was that it wasn't documented at the time, and that's since been updated. It wasn't necessarily "too hard," just throwing my 30-year-old Pokemon brain for a loop
BUT LIKE, BY THE VERY SKIN OF MY TEETH. Which I mean in a good way lol, and the lines afterwards kinda stuck with me.
Writing, music and stuff really shine too. Again, idk what controversy there was regarding the game, maybe it was just the changes, but my time with it was very special.
