The Player's Handbook is your friend. It's a great tool to get to know the ins and outs. Also watching some actual play can be helpful. There are tons of them on YouTube. Critical Role is my favorite but you can just do a general search and have at it.

I'm off tomorrow so I'll hit the gym, run some errands, do some laundry, and I'm thinking about making chili for dinner.
