I wonder…if the online behavior seen nowadays where a person claims to be a “morally better” than other individual is valid outside of theoretical contexts when they do not seek any psychological challenge on their moral ethics.

more morbid, usually from my personal experience, has the most normal and introspective fans. Stuff like horror or material involving deep trauma, I think repeatedly challenges your own stance on what is acceptable so you’re generally (imo) more stable on your ability to not be influenced.

LRP (or whatever lrt is) I think when stories are too simple with the identification of “morally good characters” and only has 1 or 2 morally grey characters, it attracts a bunch of people who are incapable to consuming stories with a certain level of depth to it.
