Short 5 mile hike today at the Stimpson Family Nature Reserve in Sudden Valley, Whatcom County, WA.

It was our first time there and it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful canopy, gorgeous bogs, ponds, and creeks, astounding flora, and I was even honored to have an eagle fly overhead and sing to me!

Short 5 mile hike today at the Stimpson Family Nature Reserve in Sudden Valley, Whatcom County, WA.

The PNW is a polypore paradise and today we found the motherlode of Turkey Tails and False Turkey Tails. It was an incredible experience today!
