The whole of Palantir’s manifesto is dystopian, but this is really chilling; “The question is not whether AI weapons will be built; it is who will build them and for what purpose.” They have a plan to build AI weapons to kill what we hold precious, we need a plan to stop them.

But I guess I should hack a screen onto one of them and then get doom running for the "lulz"

I guess I should try to get doom onto one of their things one day. Especially given I'm fairly familiar with working at the bare metal level 😅

I have got mainline Linux ported to a few enterprise class access points in the past year or so. But no screen makes doom a bit of a pain

Blackberry was very dependant on server side software. I can't remember the specifics, but I don't think you could run it after support was discontinued. Which is to say I think most of them would be bricks now

Some of their last stuff was just Android

Honestly I'd probably be impressed if they managed to get a blackberry to work, with all the infrastructure going down years ago

Oh yeah, they totally kept working for the nazis after. Ol' Henry Ford was quite the Hitler fan

Although come to think of it, this time they won't have to be told after pearl harbour "please stop working with the nazis" as their home is the nazis this time

These laws are unconstitutional and they deserve to be chucked out.

Listen to Executive Officer, Bart Shteinman on PM overnight discussing why the anti-protest laws in QLD and NSW are anti-democratic and it's a good thing they've been struck down in NSW!

The NDIS set a new standard for welfare policy in 21st century Australia for a lot of reasons, including because it is a universal program that supports disabled people regardless of income so that we are on a more equal footing with others in the community.

Targeting is toxic and must be rejected.

I'm convinced they are going to implement a means test for the NDIS and they will try to get an LLM to run it. It's going to be an inequitable shitshow and reduce none of the costs.

My nibling is already on the path to good politics because their mum explained how Albo’s comment about Grace Tame sucked, and then they came to stay with me and I told them about the 2023 workforce Australia enquiry. They do NOT like or trust the Albanese man.

This week, reports suggest Treasurer Jim Chalmers is leaning toward scrapping the Howard-era capital gains tax discount and returning to the pre-1999 inflation indexation method. Our organisations welcome this. It is exactly the kind of leadership this crisis demands.
