For the record: The Washington Post can go fuck itself.

Support pro-democracy media that doesn't have its head stuck up Donald Trump's ass. bit.ly/4qmEiFz

I’m still absolutely devastated 💔

Moving to Philly from GA six months ago was the best decision I’ve made. I can actually be proud and not cringe with every news article.

Thank you! Why is it so hard for people to just stfu and listen to people about their experiences?

Oh come on. Forget about skin color? That’s convenient. How about we let people identify however they choose to and celebrate what makes them unique? It hurts you how?

As a white person, I apologize that you are constantly subjected to correction and condescension. I’m a woman so I catch half of that and I’m tired. Mad respect.

Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.

If journalists had any integrity and courage, they would boycott the White House Correspondents Dinner. It should be as empty as a TPUSA event.

Also the ERA has still not been passed into law after passing through congress in 1972. Still. 2026.

Definitely most are built on male supremacy. The native Americans/indigenous people had it right -as with most things. But Mexico, Denmark, Iceland are good examples of where we fall short in our progression.

A country literally built on white male supremacy does not let go of its roots easily.

Seriously. Men doing a fraction of what it takes to manage the basic chores required of a household and they’re exhalted. Ugh. That’s the floor not the ceiling. So glad I’m a lesbian. And I raised twin sons that take care of themselves and share the household duties bc duh.

Aint gonna happen. Sadly.

I agree. It’d be great if we can get as many as possible together with a D coalition. But that’s rainbows and unicorns. My personal solution is to gtfo of this dumpster fire of a country as soon as humanly possible. I’m tired of trying to turn a donkey into a unicorn.

I just don’t want to dismiss all of the work people did to get us to where DSA is more than a fringe movement. We are on their shoulders, and that’s how it works. Our work will pave the way for the future.

I agree. Wherever possible we have to get Dem Soc in power. Mamdani was a huge win and we have momentum. But where that’s not possible, like in the south, we at least have to get Ds in office that will help the overall agenda instead of neutering it.

Were you alive in 2008?

3 days ago 0 0 0 0

No. The American people choosing not to support D candidates gets us Rs which screws over the American people and isreal.

💯 agree. I’m in the DSA. That’s going to take time. We’re making progress but until we have a lot more dem socialists in power we have to play the game and at least get dems in power. Baby steps. It’s a marathon. The Rs played the long game since Nixon which why we’re here.

Not supporting D candidates bc they take corporate money, including evil aipac, gets us R who will provide much more support to Isreal while also sacrificing the needs of Americans. Until we have a VERY solid D majority and more Dem. Socialists in congress, this is the shitty hand we have to play.

And that benefits whom?

3 days ago 0 0 1 0

They fought hard against CU. If they refused corporate money we wouldn’t have the ACA right now.

Right but back to GA as an example. In the 2021 runoff that got Osoff and Warnock in office, who would’ve been your preferred candidate? Because the other choices were David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.
