Just got another all-one-colour outfit. My wife will kill me but I'll have a good time.

There's still 1U in there for, like... what I'd really like is a two channel stereo mixer that's also a DI. Maybe I should check out the Radial page.

It looks and sounds GREAT. Still using the Tascam DR600 to mix the reverb with the raw compressor, but for now, I'm very satisfied.

Today was the first time I used hearing protection at a show in a couple years. I've been running more shows and enjoying my PA but I've been getting occasional tinnitus.
And it sounded really good. The music through the hearing protection, not the tinnitus.

I can't really do the whole hyperminimal "enby and a uke" kinda performances I used to. I feel differently.
But we'll be plenty minimal. Till we start adding musicians.

I just kinda wanna make a cute instrument. That doesn't require a lot of setup. And can kindof live on a desk so I can pick at it.
And use it equally to make demoes into a recorder or play a proper PA with it.
My other instruments are wilder and they aught to be, but that's different art.

1991 drum machine, 1986 FM synth, hopefully picking up a 1979 BBD reverb tomorrow.
Compressor is 1998 but probably made and bought more recently. It'll bear upgrading to something with more character, but it's not like any of these items is particularly sought after.
