I haven't posted recently as I'm heartbroken, I found out a few days ago a week ago, that the handyman, working to get my house rented, while I'm in Central America, has instead robbed me + trashed the house. So, I have to stop what I'm doing here, and return asap to deal with my wrecked house. :(

A friend of mine works as a docent at the Living Desert in California. She posted a sunning prairie dog looking dead, and it reminded me of this starling. I thought it was injured, as I got closer it stood and flew away. #birds

It's AI, the lighting is perfect, the bird is flawless, not reality based. Hen appears to be a Brabanter teen, Polish chickens have an extra bone bump on their skull to support their crest, which often gives them a swept back or rounded look tho roosters look more like members of a metal band.
