With the support of the DCs for Bees initiative, our orchard is in its first blossom. Our horticulture classes planted a variety of 30 fruit trees, from plum, pear, cherry, apple and more. Within the orchard our 2nd year horticulture class created a pond that we hope

Grace Larkin got 1st Class Honours Certificate and Caoimhe Doyle got Highly Commended Certificate. Amazing scores for all the other girls achieving well into the 80s of both really high standard competitions!
Another great win for our junior debate team, Theo, Sophie, Sam and Finn. They defeated Drogheda Educate Together today in an exciting debate about pros and cons of a universal basic income. They go onwards to complete in the final in Dublin on March 14th. We wish the team well!'

Nick showcased all the different learning and teaching tools that can be used in the classroom for an interactive differentiated lesson. The day ended with a two hour training session around Artificial Intelligence in the classroom.
What a great day in Celbridge Community School. As an Apple Distinguished School we are proud partners with @selectapple_ie and today Nick, Dave and the team were with us from 9am running AI CPD during the school day.
Lots of work has gone into preparing the school for our Careers Evening tomorrow. We have 18 universities & colleges attending , the defence forces, 10 companies promoting apprenticeships & graduate opportunities and over 30 parent & alumni volunteers #community #celebrating10years
We hope to upcycle small items to give them a new lease of life and plan to sell on with proceeds for housing charities & our school sustainability fund.
