Like, do I wish that I didn't need multiple pairs of glasses? Sure. Aging is irritating. But not having to play "find the focal distance" with my phone and actually being able to see my knitting when I'm working with the tiny needles is really nice actually.

My mom needed treatment for depression and anxiety and refused to get it. Still hasn't gotten it.
So when it turned out that trying progressives gave me vertigo, I punched down that feeling of "bifocals are for old people" and got some anyway
Let yourself be old.
If you need hearing aids, get hearing aids (if you can afford to). If you need bifocals, get bifocals. Don't let fear of being seen as old stop you from living your life, because aging sucks, but it's also a privilege not everyone gets access to.
