Writing is the world's loneliest team sport
My advice to new writers...
Get some other writers to be your friends
Get ppl who understand the horror of trying to decide between "blood spilled across the floor"
And " a splash of crimson spilled across the floor"😊

For many years when we weren’t on the road, Bobby and I would arrange for a catch-up dinner at Musso and Frank Grill in Hollywood. We’d order steaks and spend hours talking. Reminiscing, sure, but mainly talking about our kids and how lucky we were. Forty years of friendship. I’ll miss you, man.
