I regret to inform you that this is me

I don't do "love & light," especially when the world is burning.
Come get your own free reading Mondays at 6pm CT. Donβt be scared. My cards & I are nicer to our querents. Usually.

They say you should never do a Tarot reading without consent.
I say there's an exception for individuals who have never given a shit about consent in their lives.
Last night the Neon Moon deck had some things to say. π©Έ
It's from the game Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Any time you did something that revealed the existence of Vampires it's a violation of "The Masquerade". π

Any mutuals want to stream Fight'n Rage together? It's a 90s style side scrolling beat-em-up. You wouldn't need the game as we can use Steam's Remote Play Together.
It will also be worse. I don't know how, but he'll do it.
Mini-Golf Putter
How silly would that be? The correct tool is obviously the plastic coated putter stolen from a mini-golf place.
Masquerade Violation
That's a Masquerade Violation.
Beat Heroine's Quest last stream. The final battle was a touch underwhelming.... Ok this is my punishment for playing games on "easy" because I care more about a good story than punishing difficulty. π€£
Dance Off!
Pulling cards tonight at 6pm US/CT with a cyberpunk deck called Neon Moon, to a my Neon Cathedral playlist. Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, that whole vibe. Free readings. Come get one.

Thanks. I unfortunately don't have a dark room I can use for a traditional arcade like space- so they're just in the front of my place. First thing you see when you walk in. π€£

Nice! Here's mine. I'm a pin person.
I feel the same way when I vote and my viable choices are 98% Hitler & 82% Hitler.
It's always been odd to me how people will like someone's random postings on socials but never actually go follow them on Twitch. π€
I really don't get the hate for these either. The LED signs are better in every conceivable way yet some people get bent out of shape when they're called "Neon" signs. I guess they view the chemistry as more important than the result? Or maybe they're just unhappy people who like to complain.

Then there's Robert Galbraith. We should all use his pronouns. He writes his books using this name and so we should respect the choice he made.
Remember when games shipped when they were done and didn't have massive day one patches? When the actual playable game was on the disc? Gaming used to be cool.
Started a GLP-1 in desperation for dealing with my long covid. Early study results are look promising. So far I think the weight loss effect of a GLP-1 are just due to how nauseous it makes you. Can't eat if the thought of food makes you gag. π

Does anybody know of a controller that has hall effect or tmr sticks AND its d-pad makes getting an unintentional diagonal unlikely (but not necessarily impossible)? On top of all that I'd still like it to be good in Street Fighter for motion inputs. Am I just asking for too much here?
I never want to see a controller review again without it being put through the d-pad stress that is NES Contra. Out of my controllers:
-Ultimate 2C w/Tape mod is decent
-Duel Shock 2 was surprisingly mid
-SN30 pro was a bit rough
I bet if I tape mod the SN30 it will be similar to the 2C.
The FBI just abused a vulnerability in the messaging app Signal to recover deleted messages related to anti-fascist activity.
Except no, they didn't.
But I do think this case points to a flaw in how we talk about digital privacy in leftist spaces.
Let's talk about it!
It kind of amazes me that given the prevalence of Covid & Long Covid we haven't come up with better treatment yet. All we've got is a pile of "early studies have shown this might be effective". Unfortunately, insurance isn't going to pay for meds taken for that purpose.
There's no test for long covid, you just start ruling everything else out until the only possibility that remains is it. Then from there treatment is in the "throwing darts in the dark" stage; toss something in that general direction and hope.
One of the things that suck with long covid is it's easy to talk yourself into thinking it's all in your head - that the lethargy is your fault - that you're just being lazy. Got some lab work back & it showed my Immature Granulocytes were 367% above normal which is consistent with long covid.
