I know I should be happy it wasn't a blowout or anything, but man, we had that game. Edmonton is an early game team, and we're a late game team. Need more than just one period of generating offensive chances.

Very winnable game. Really hard not to feel like this was the best shot we're gonna have this series. McDavid isn't gonna be so quiet and Draisaitl is gonna continue to heal up.

Washe should be out there taking draws.

That play should never have been able to develop because Draisaitl should not have been able to get that far into the zone in the first place.

Very smart play by Walman there to recognize the situation and go for the shot most likely to generate a rebound. Don't think Hinds should've sold out like that.

While having possession time out of our zone would be ideal, being able to keep the power line (McDavid/Draisaitl/Bouchard) out to the board and away from high danger shots is quite helpful.

Been saying it all week. The key to beating Edmonton is to outgun them and that's something the Ducks are certainly capable of. The defense is porous and the goaltending is suspect. Pouring shots on gives opportunities to capitalize.

The first line finally got their ass in gear which was sorely needed. Kreider is invisible out there, though. Wondering if we should swap him with Cutter...

They maintained that level of effort throughout the second. Very encouraging! The PKs have been huge. Tim Washe is having a hell of a game winning faceoffs against McDavid and Draisaitl.

Sloppy neutral zone play has been killing us the past month. Passes to no one and letting guys get in behind. Needs to be cleaned up.

The way they came out of the first commercial break was highly encouraging! The fourth line is on business.

The Oilers aren't giving the Ducks any room. Gonna have to change it up from run and gun to get past em.
