According to non-partisan Tax Foundation, “The tariffs will reduce after-tax income by an average of 2.1 percent and amount to an average tax increase of more than $2100 per US household in 2025.” This sucks.

Disney makes space for everyone. Another reason that makes clear it’s way cooler to join the Resistance than to go to an elitist wizard school imagined by a body phobic little prim.

Come to find out Universal designs their rides for max 40 inch waistline, claiming to balance safety and accessibility. After Disney, I call BS.

After we got pulled off Harry Potter, my daughter cried not because of disappointment, but because she felt bad for me. I don’t apologize for my body and we both agreed it’s Universal’s fault.

My 300 pound self and 5th grader daughter just finished one day at Universal Studios Hollywood and 2 days at Disneyland. There were five rides at Universal that didn’t accommodate my size. No issues at Disney.

Screen shot of pre-order offer for Trump Cologne. The cologne bottle is topped by a statuette that looks like if Trump were an Oscar.

I think this is a real grift.

I had to tend to my mental health and not worry about finishing things quickly. Also, I bet you still read a lot, just not in a way your former selves recognized. Recalibrate.

I took my first jab of Wegovy today. I’m feeling all the things, but mostly this: to anyone struggling with obesity, love the body you’re in AND it’s ok to ask for help. Let’s lean on each other. #Wegovyjourney #takeupspace #stopfatstigma

Cool middle-aged music folks: what’s your take on SiriusXM? I like the real DJs vibe, but do they exploit musicians as much as Spotify and the rest? I still love @npr.org, but I’m trying to shift to more music these days—because, well, you know.

That’s how they roll. Kudos for amplifying their hypocrisy. How do we get non-maga Trump voters to see it and get how dangerous it is?

Greetings people of Bluesky. So we all agree now that the moderates aren’t a viable voting bloc anymore, and it was a bad strategy to stand closer to the Cheneys and Mitt than our own progressive wing, right?
