Best of luck to your soon to be mind melting project, gonna keep an eye for ye posts.

Also, as a Frankenstein kitbasher who usually makes freaks of nature (and been planning on refinements while in my long move), this GIF is pretty much my mentality...just add a large hobby saw.

After looking over, I think a Gouf Custom with parts from the Zaku 2 FZ would work the best as a base with some serious contorting.

To the reference folder ye go. Also kinda reminds me of the Mondoshawan from Fifth Element

Aye, I plan on reusing it for a future build involving a 1/60 V2 Gundam. Kinda funny that I used RC car paint for them, though....

As stated, I don't have any of my stuff with me so I have to wait till next Nov before starting up again. Meanwhile, I'm currently getting back into digital art again after finding my antidepressants so I could post my attempts if that interests anyone (focuses on robots and cyborgs)

This here was my first official custom kit I've ever made (there were a few protos beforehand, but they were just pieces) though this is the only photo that survived. Also, this ends my archive dump run so I'll be going dark until next Nov or when the house is fully built -[cont in comment sect]-.

Of all my builds, this one costed the most paint wise due to the number/amount of metallic paints used here. Incidentally, I did a few Transformers themed zoids, but I'm pretty much going to redo them all for something else. #gunpla #zoids #kotobukiya

This Dragonar Dreu kit was a funny little one, mostly because of how straightforward it was for an 80's kit. Did do some minor mods on the legs and swapped out the hands, but other than that, its mostly the same. Making it the same colors as Macross VF-1J was accidental though #gunpla #gundam

Digging in the archives and found this funny little experiment I did. Basically I wanted to try a 2-tone topcoat effect for the black to see how it worked. Turns out it worked well if you don't mind not top coating your kit. the gold was accidental by mixing regular and titanium gold #gunpla #gundam

Aye, most of my thoughts now are well after the kit was done; I was at least content when I initially finished the kit. despite my disappointment with it I was able to learn a few things from this one that would be used on my later kits (specifically the Zaku 1 custom I posted before)

Ah, this build that I did for a contest: If the concept of disappointment was made into a custom model kit. The idea was somewhat solid, but the last stage execution ended up a train wreck. Definitely going to be redone completely with new parts and an actual brain #gunpla #gundam #kitbash

And now for something different: first time working on these Frame Arm Girls and mostly did this for a contest. Always wanted to do an astronaut themed build but had to sacrifice a Metal Armor Dragonar kit to do it. The drone was made using a Christmas bauble #gunpla #framearmgirls #kotobukiya

Dug into my archives and found this custom gouf I did. If I remember right, this was my attempt at a Thunderbolt ver and required a lathe to work the turbofan covers. will likely rework the backpack and make them jet engine based rather than turbofans among other new ideas #gunpla #gundam #kitbash

If basic was a thing for me, this custom fits the bill. Since this Jesta came to me without any of it's stuff and backpack, I just bobbled a few parts together and salvaged a part from a failed custom attempt and used it for the backpack. Somehow, I got this kit sold for $70 #gunpla #gundam #kitbash

MG zeta "Iron Commando". When I got this kit it lacked an arm and it's backpack so I cobbled some parts together and accentuated the missing arm bit a la Exia Repair 1. I have plans on refining this kit as usual to my posts, though it'll be modest upgrades/changes mostly. #gunpla #gundam #kitbash

If I remember right, this Homeworld Taiidan Empire Geara Doga and petit'guy was the 3rd kit I ever did and the one were my customization was far more chaotic on the front end. If I can find the parts, I'd like to refine this build in the future and rework the LED system #gunpla #gundam #Homeworld

Another from the archives: MG Hyaku Shiki Kai themed after Homeworld (namely the Taiidan Republic from Cataclysm). Did this one for a contest and was rather straightforward since this predated my building doctrine. The turquoise was a nightmare to deal with though. #gunpla #gundam #plamo #homeworld

Funny you mention that, been trying to get a 1/48 round facer for a while now so I can contort it into a Griffin but they're all too expensive (or the sellers are idiots trying to sell a mangled one at NIB costs). Least I got a 1/48 Ironfoot to contort into a thunderbolt

Another from the archives, this Battletech Locust kitbash using the Crusher Joe Ostall kit. The original kit's legs were too scrawny to fit the look so I kitbashed gundam parts and got it to match the modern Locust design. was also the first time doing a snow setting #gunpla #battletech #mechwarrior

Digging into the archives and found this Frankenstein kitbash that I forgot the name of. I do remember using lots of scrap gunpla parts and fusing them onto an IBO frame and experimented with a super flat aluminum paint. I'll most likely going to turn it into 2 kits in time. #gunpla #kitbash #plamo

Now for an Elden Ring based custom, specifically the cleanrot knights. experimented the idea of using metallics for gradients, namely gold to copper. I know for sure this guy won't survive the international move, but I have plans on fixing/retooling this custom. #gunpla #plamo #kitbash #eldenring

And here's that ship I mentioned in my last post: the Fledermaus from Ma.k. This was an old 80's kit so it had lots of issues that needed fixing. I also replaced the cockpit with a scratch built AI core as the former was lacking. #plamo #ma.k #maschinenkreiger #gunpla

Other than Gundam and my frankenstein grade kitbashes I also do other scifi stuff. For this case, here are some of my Ma.K. suits that I've done as part of a set based off of the Spacers from Brigador. there's also a vehicle for them, but that's for next post.. #plamo #maschinenkreiger #Ma.K

Ah, Rust Jackal: the one that got me into my unhinged, Frankenstein fueled kitbashing ways and helped me to stop being afraid of extreme experimenting on kits. I hold dear to to this one but still gonna refresh it with better joint covers, a base and a fresh paint scheme #gunpla #kitbash #plamo

True, hence why I'm most likely going to remaster this kit with my new customizing/scratch building doctrine....and also because I have 2 other MG Sinanjus and will make a Jeanne one to go with it.

kinda embarrassing to post this one,but eh. This Sinanju Bayonetta ver was done well before my current doctrine of customizing/kitbashing, but I still did some experiments with it. Currently debating on whether or not to remaster this kit under my current customizing doctrine #gunpla #gundam

And now for something rather different from my archives: this old 80's kit I customized. I used this kit as a test bed for what would be my future kits and foray into other 80's era kits (that I have lots of). Just did some basic adjustments and focused on enhancing the kit. #gunpla #plamo #kitbash

Entering in my older works, this one being a Frankenstein fueled kitbash that predates my Killroy kitbash. Definitely see room for overhauling and will most likely end up taking it apart and making 2 kits out of it TBH....will absolutely reinstate the red color for it though #gunpla #gundam #kitbash
