I've been wanting to make more realistic coin pushers for VRChat as it's one of my secret favorite arcade games.

I've been paranoid about the optimization concerns of potentially hundreds of cloned coins at once, though.

I recently had my concerns pushed aside, I think I'm gonna a coin pusher.

It's going to remain a separate map due to a few big things.

1, the less accurate placement (2m not 0.5m) means more total map size per save.
2, the player speed is going to be way higher
3, less conflict in UI
4, map can have an individual playerbase
5, I already made UVRCPC a catchy name...

I decided that instead of making a bunch of levels in Unity, I'd make the wall running speedrun using my parkour map as a basis, and now I can design levels for it in VRChat.

It also expands the functionality of the map since anyone can make a level too. But I still to do a lot of work on it.

Just found out my Anti-Chair system for my VRChat speedrunning map leads to an exploit.
Patching the exploit weakens the anti-chair, but strengthening the anti-chair enables the exploit.

If only I could just detect "IsOnChair" in udon...

With the VRChat open beta for 3rd person being merged to the main open beta, I've been testing my maps with 3rd person.

I have to fix the UI layer, but also, since I used max FOV, I noticed how overpowered it can get. Do I leave 3rd person enabled for the map or, I don't know, what do I do chat?

Darn, I found a pretty annoying VRChat bug.
Instantiating an object causes the original to be (wrongfully)dropped.
This wasn't the case in previous versions, and it's slightly ruining my level editor.
But I made some silly cubes while checking it!

I've also been continuing to practice my custom parkour map.

I've got 22 more levels to design (minimum) and some form of mellow yet parkour-y music that you can tune out since people will be here for hours more than likely before it's even viable to go public.
But it's fun!

This week I've been working on the self promotion corner for one of my VRChat maps that I've been delaying publishing for years!
One of these days I'll get the last thing I need fixed in this map, then it will go public.

Well, rec room is shutting down.

I'm considering making a game based on their paintball game in VRChat. One of the few things that kept me liking that game was the lack of good dynamic yet simple pvp games for VRChat.

One of my maps already has 90% of that, I could just tweak the health/map

Been going on a bit of a fixing arc instead of editing the photos for the new VRChat (Just)Tag prefab.

5 prefabs (so far) will be getting small fixes/improvements today.

One of these days everything will be perfect. And nothing will need to be improved anymore!

Pinata party has been updated, now including my most recent invention, VRChat (Just)Tag

Some other small changes as well, but mainly tag is now present!

Your maps become nostalgic places for people, don't delete them.
I'm lucky enough that very few maps get privated instead of deleted and that I archive links. But many people remember places like this, and have no way to ever see it again.
