Decided to do a little more digging to learn more about those 2020 Biden voters who skipped 2024, why they skipped, and what sort of message might win them back, and found this helpful research by Celinda Lake from last year: waytowin.docsend.com/view/rnv5spt...

You do not realize how huge moose are until you see a video of them interacting with human-scale objects.
TIL that Sea Lions, like moose, are basically kaiju
Anyway, I'm not gonna ask that dude because I strongly suspect he has the same answer I do: the constituency of convincable moderate conservatives who would flip D if only Dems were hardass enough on immigration didn't show up at the polls in 2024 because they don't exist.
That’s not an answer to the question my dude.
What constituency is this supposed to appeal to and why didn’t they show up in 2024?
Where was the vast constituency of “convincable moderate conservatives” the last round of hardass positions on immigration was supposed to appeal to in 2024, Steve?
One of those animals like Wombats I always had pegged at like a third to half of their actual size
Это не то.
Trump said he'd run the country like a business and to his credit it really does feel like the country is being run as one of his businesses.
How about we radically restructure ICE right into the fucking Hague
This is why you idiots always lose
Telling myself a lot of these folks are posting from troll farms running 'split-the-left' ops to stay sane
Conservatives are not beating the 'they think every piece of modern infrastructure they depend of just fell out of the sky' allegations
I always thought Sun Tzu's "Art of War" was a little simplistic and obvious but it turns out yes, you do literally need to tell the Secretary of War "you need to feed your troops and keep them from being wiped out by preventable diseases"
Man, I wish people wouldn't post Trump walls of text- like this one bragging about talking to Tim Cook- with just the caption 'Oh God', it makes my blood run cold every time after the other week.
You see it in Mamdani, too. Instead of proposing technocratic tweaks he just goes up there and says "Cost of living is a huge problem, we're gonna address it with municipally subsidized grocery stores and childcare & pay for it by taxing vacant properties" and it turns out everyone likes that!
Yep, like I said, you've got Hillary with a technocratic set of 14 tax breaks that are gonna reduce the price of prescription drugs by 4.7% over fifteen years and Sanders out there saying "we're gonna go Medicare for All and pay for it by taxing billionaries"
(The frustrating thing of course is that Dems can do this too and usually choose not to, this is why people like Sanders)
This is a real, enduring problem for Dems; Trump is a bad actor but he's very much slotted into the 'I'm gonna fix the thing that Fox keeps telling you is a problem with the exact policy approaches Fox keeps pushing" and unfortunately there's an audience for that on the right.
Oh ye gods that was funny, "my SKILLS are INCREASING!" and it turns out it took him four months to try adding 'dramatic lighting' to his prompt
Was this the dude who was trying to pivot into AI Art a couple months ago?
If you've ever been interested in checking out that Kamen Rider show I occasionally nerd out about on here, now's the time. Apple TV has the entire Kamen Rider Geats series (49 subtitled episodes) on sale for a paltry $8.
It's my favorite of the Reiwa Era Rider series. Just loads of dumb fun.
Ye cats, make is such a pain. How did this become a de facto Linux standard tool 😩
Having to reschedule a flight also sounds like much more of a time/wasting pain in the ass than showing up an hour early
Post-election analysis indicates that the real place Trump cleaned up was with low-info voters and late deciders, as in 2016.
Do you want to beat republicans or do you want to yell at leftists
