what makes it funnier for me is that there are people in my family that talk a lot like foghorn leghorn. so like, as cartoony as it is, it's not much more exaggerated than the actual accents and speech quirks i grew up around. his voice is a special kind of comforting to me because of that.

i went to Carolina Furfare with a mascot friend and got a bit of an outfit upgrade with these rubber waders! was fun walking around the con like this. very good toy and gender feelings
and gosh waders just feel wonderful to wear, they're even good for snuggling 🖤✨

social anxiety's a biiiiitch this is just the most present way it prevents me from socializing in ways i'd otherwise really enjoy.
social media is the amplification of everything that already makes me stressed and anxious about normal social interactions, and it weighs on me heavier after a hiatus
and a lot of it is probably just fatigue from being active on social media since i was literally 12 and Vine was the hottest new thing. but i dunno.
feels harder every year to engage on social media platforms. like there's a barrier to it, always getting higher, and i'm losing the will to climb it
i like sharing my thoughts and art and stories and making new friends and finding people who can relate to all my weirdness.
but i really don't like the social media game. it comes with so much pressure, paranoia over how things will spread and be received, and so many ways to feel worthless.
