This was the Home Secretary (Labour, a British south Asian woman) arguing that the personal characteristics of another MP (the LibDem Home Affairs spokesman, a white British man) invalidate his argument, because he does not share her characteristics or experiences.

It is exhausting for the accurate argument "its not racist to voice concerns about immigration [unless they are racist]" to now become fused to a *presumption* of racism if voice [liberal] criticisms of Shabana Mahmood [who may herself want to critique Braverman or Yusuf or Farage occasionally]
