A reminder that honeybees are not native to North America, they are livestock. This is not 'saving the bees' because honeybees don't need saving and they out-compete native wild bees, many of which are better pollinators and huge numbers are actually engangered and do need saving.
If you want to help bees, plant a diversity of native plants that bloom over different months. Put up mason bee houses if you want to keep bees. Don't use any pesticides. Leave your yard messy and don't cut back flowers, bees nest in the stalks. Leave bare patches of soil for ground nesting bees.
