This is my middle grade dystopian novel about climate change and two siblings at the end of the world. It received two starred reviews and was a School Library Journal Best MG of 2025.

This. I got an email from the university I teach at about the difficulties of identifying AI in student work. I was curious about the accuracy of the detectors, so I used one on my own WIP. One said it was 100% human; another said it was 30% AI. 🙃

Exactly. I loved the ending of S7 and how hopeful and open-ended it was. (Ditto for the ending of ANGEL. I know some people were upset by it, but I can’t think of a better way to end a series whose entire message was: “If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.”)
