All this to say: DO NOT sleep on our senate or gubernatorial races this year… The closest we’ve come to a statewide victory in the last 20 years was Trump’s first midterm in 2018 when Henry McMaster got < 54% of the vote!
2026 may be the best statewide opportunity SC gets for another decade.

The SC map is so gerrymandered that statewide races range D40-45% while the Dems in congressional races get 28-42% (yikes).
Believe it or not, statewide SC races may be more viable than SC01 or SC02.
