i mean it could also be the case where the translator receives the dialogue with zero context whatsoever and i 100% understand those cases, i just got surprised bc then i was thinking like huh, its so interesting how many ways u can translate one sentence!

sometimes im watching a movie w/ hun subs and its going ok and then theres a translation error that TECHNICALLY speaking is not an error bc it COULD be translated that way but based on the context of the scene its clearly NAWT what the character should be saying and it always catches me so off guard
