You made a franchise about dealing with emotions

When you as the audience start putting pressure on a creative for their work for not aligning with what you want to happen or who you want to be primary focus then is that really no different from an executive meddling the production of one's work. Something to think about

You can't in the same breath praise Indie Animation for giving the creators more freedom to make the art they want while simultaneously demanding then to do things your way. You can have critiques, but critiques ≠ demands

One of the benefits of Indie Animation is the ability to create your world within your vision without executive demands curbstomping it. Leading to work that can be flawed but feel more authentic. You would think that'd be something people understand by now but you'd be wrong

Hackers made death threats against this security researcher. Big mistake. Allison Nixon had helped arrest dozens of members of The Com — a loose affiliation of online groups responsible for violence and hacking campaigns. Then she became a target.

Anonymously threatening a security researcher seems like a shooting-yourself-in-the-dick level bad decision. Kudos to Allison Nixon for not taking any shit.
