I'm still thinking about this!! My theory is that the points in each geo area or box were just centralized, so the dot over the lawn was nonsensical, basically just a centroid saying "somewhere in this rectangle is an elevator"

See you in less than an hour with Isabella and Hadley to learn about how data dictionaries, Claude, and parquet fit together into one magical workflow.
And maybe Hadley will talk a little about the new ggsql, too?! #rstats #databs

Yes! A lot of our kitties end up with nerdy names, I can't help it ๐ฅน Your kitty's name is GORGEOUS and I've never heard it before!
We do call her Flower!
More domino beans!! We love them
Oh my goodness, he looks a little like our Wizard (who left the earth years ago โค๏ธ) and who was also SO talkative haha
Morgan would never ๐
A blurry security camera image of a skunk walking toward a red water bowl on a cedar plank patio
I read no shaming!! Plus, I know you โค๏ธโค๏ธ fellow friend to animals, lover of skunks ๐ฆจ Ours has been coming by early enough in the evening that we can watch her live on the patio cam when we get the alert!
Yes! We do animal rescue, so we take on kitties with special medical needs. The orange kitty seen in some of these photos is their brother Marmalade, who is a cancer survivor with an autoimmune disease. We spend more on vet, food, litter, & pharmacy bills than on our mortgage ๐ it's a full-time job!
Woah
Haha wellll, they didn't all show up at once!
Fili's dominos are very legendary, and he's got all these teeny, random black specks of fur on his otherwise snowy white feet. They're so CUTE
Hahaha, we may only have two of the dwarves, but we do have 8 other cats. They just happen to have non-dwarven names ๐
They are
A brown and white cat is curled up on a tan blanket. His head is bent toward the blanket with his front legs curled under his head. The back half of an orange and white cat is seen in the foreground
Omg so cute!! Billy and Fili!
Fili has a brother named Kili, too ๐ Here's Kili!
A brown and white cat is sleeping on a cream colored plaid blanket with his front right paw covering is left eye. Only the top half of the cat is in view, and part of a grey sofa is seen behind him, past the blanket. The cat's nose is pink smudged with brown.
A hand holds the back left foot of a sleeping cat. The leg is dark brown and the foot is white. Black toe beans are seen. The cats other foot is tucked under the one that's on display. You can just see part of the sleeping cat's nose in the background.
Just in case you needed some Fili in your life today. Deep breaths. Gaze at the perfect little domino beans. Marvel at his perfectly smudged nose. Imagine his soft purrs next to you. Breathe.
I myself rarely need to code anymore (I work in marketing but mainly run live events), so when I DO get to code, I want to code. I enjoy AI greasing the wheels, but I don't love not gettin to get my hands dirty
100%!!
The most interesting thing about sharing my views online is the wildly wrong assumptions I get to watch folks make about me, what I do, and how I do it ๐ It's also been interesting to observe that people in dev roles seem to assume everyone else is a dev, but people of all walks use agentic AI tools
That's great that you're having fun!
Sounds like you're lucky to enjoy the stuff you still get to do! I don't enjoy architecting at all ๐
I followed her blog post here! Look for the section at the end on lighthouse, which is used as a netlify integration jadeyryan.com/blog/2023-11...

That sounds like a different but perhaps equal level of bad ๐
TELL ME, WHAT IS IT YOU PLAN TO DO WITH YOUR ONE WILD AND PRECIOUS LIFE? - Mary Oliver
"Review what Claude did and accept changes" - us
This is when I go sit alone in my room and watch youtube video after youtube video of Japanese craftspeople doing intensely precise and time-intensive work to create one immaculate object. I want to live in that.
I too have felt that "I didn't even build this" thing where I wish I could be proud of myself, but I just sort of feel a little empty inside ๐
I don't know if it's helpful, but I use a process stolen from @jadeynryan.bsky.social's website (mine is a fork of hers!) that does a build check using lighthouse
