I’ve been building enterprise systems for 28 years. This is literally the stupidest project proposal I’ve seen in all 28 of them.

In fairness this has nothing to do with insurance, but my doctor determined I needed surgery in April. I am finally having the surgery in ten days. It took that long to get the only surgeon in my area qualified to do it. And my area is known for excellent healthcare.

Ok, that’s probably true, but how is that different than now? I am having surgery in ten days. Would you like to know when my doctor determined that I needed that surgery? April. I have very good private insurance and live in an area with some of the best healthcare in the nation. But here we are.
