Pet peeve:

It's amazing how often I read the home page of someone's website and STILL can't figure out what they do.

You work for yourself because you want to be your own boss.

So don’t act like your clients are your boss.

When he first became successful, Matthew McConaughey went on a 4-hour walk with a monk.

I don't believe in best practices.

Because the "best practices" were originally created by people who didn't follow the "best practices."

I haven’t done this, but I bet a good way would be to DM each of them individually.

Not only would it be effective, but it would ensure the ones who come over are really high quality followers who engaged with you.
