As of today, me and Adrienne talked in private to get the situation resolved peacefully. A proper statement was made, the merch issue was addressed and I am unblocked. I advise to please be kind and to not harass anyone. None of us want that. Thank you.

It makes me sad. Had she just stated “thank you for letting me know that the merch was effected the skintones, I’ll talk to the company” in the main post & didn’t delete anyone comments clarifying this none of this would’ve happened. People would’ve understood and forgave it. I know I would have.
no problem! I only wanted to emphasize and clarify that it specifically *wasnt* Adrienne or the artists fault, but specifically a printing error that was made on yetee‘s end. I’m not sure why she removed my statement since it placed zero blame on her.

play that game on easy mode. summon that online helper. use that cheat code.

Adrienne recently made an apology statement on tumblr. There was no mention let alone an apology to all the poc she blocked for letting her and yetee know this issue happened to begin with. Keep in mind I let her know for months/ years and she chose now to do it.

all this to say all I’m asking is that Adrienne and this fandom to please do better. I know you all can. I’ve had such a love for this game, for this community and it hurts to see in return how many fans of color were treated as if their voices don’t matter. Please do better in the future.
And the cherry on top of all of this is When people in her official discord tried to talk about this, two of the (nonblack) mods went out of their way to shift topics, deleted comments asking for context on the situation and tried to downplay it as “drama” or a miscommunication and defended Adrienne
Instead of apologizing or just being kind, she then proceeds to ignore everyone asking why I was blocked, go on a danganronpa stream and shill her next game. she still as of late has not done or said anything.
Her response was to block me on tumblr, blueksky, instagram and other socials for me for clarifying this to another fan who said they were confused. She then removed my comment and rb from view entirely So that any mention of whitewashing was gone.
She releases a vaguely worded statement regarding the situation, which caused some people in her comments to assume she was joking. I clarified and said that it wasn’t a joke and that the color misprint caused skintones to get lightened up.
I politely let her know that the skintone on mirabelle was lightened on her post in February. No response. I then made a post in March, thinking that maybe my reply got lost due to all the notifs or tumblrs glitchy Ui. I tag her directly and politely explain how yetee printer may be causing it.
We decided to give her grace and hope that it would improve over time that it was a simple one time mistake. It wasn’t. People kept pointing it out and it kept getting ignored. i saw that the newest poster and artbook was able to be fixed, so i naively thought that the keychains being sold could too
