Yyeah.. really turned of by grind mechanica. Tf2 at least /was/ a game that launched with an all-in set of mechanics that you just played for love of the game. It was designed to have you keep playing on the merit of being good, not that you could unlock lore or new skins or loot or whatev

theres so many really polished, fun looking games full of nice character/world designs that i just wont play for these kind of shallow, piecemeal & derivative gameplay loops.
