It's going to be AMAZING with two Magic lore nerds talking about Magic lore and, in my opinion, one of the best and queerest pieces of Magic the Gathering story ever written. Plus you'll have a chance to ask questions about frogs and/or owlins (and probably other things).

Finally, we'll have tons of free Magic promos and goodies for everyone attending tonight to hopefully make up for some of the suck.

I hope that not being able to grab a book tonight won't stop you from coming to the event...

First all attendees tonight will get their copy (whether preordered or purchased on site) shipped to them for free as soon as Seanan signs them.

Second, we will be giving out free Lorwyn story character cards to the first 12 attendees so you can get characters written by Seanan signed tonight.

Not gonna lie, this sucks, and while everyone I've talked to has tried their hardest to fix this in the end it doesn't change the fact that books won't arrive by the event tonight and you are probably super disappointed. Here's what we're gonna do to make things better:

Long story short: the shipping dept may have forgotten Easter exists when planning to get the books to us (and other bookstores) on time for release... We've been working with the publisher, the courier, and Seanan's team to try to get the books to arrive on time but unfortunately... physics.

Omens of Chaos event with @seananmcguire.bsky.social is TONIGHT, but with a small change: b/c the publisher's shipping dept screwed up we won't have the books tonight. However, we will be offering free shipping or personalized copies to all attendees tonight plus more (signed) Magic goodies! 🧵

Experimenting letting the cats out on to the shop floor during open hours. So far they've shown zero interest in escaping (GOOD). :3
