I fear Trump included 18-year-olds as a test to see if the courts will uphold restrictions on transgender adults’ health care. If so, he may try to expand these restrictions to all age groups. Targeting minors may be a tactical, temporary move.

This goes hand-in-hand with banning books and teachings about systemic inequalities experienced by marginalized groups. It’s a complete fascistic restructuring of history and culture.
