In 2006, Climax Studios pitched a new Silent Hill game to Konami, now known as Broken Covenant (from a later attempt). It featured Father Hector Santos in an Arizona town, where SH's influence has spread. Both towns start merging and buildings from SH's history materialize everywhere.

Pragmata review - the greatest Xbox 360 game never made Capcom channel the energy of the PlayStation 3 era in this top notch third person title that isn’t a sequel or a remake - just a really good video game.

Good to see it scoring highly. I couldn't wait for it so I'm playing something else, but I think I'll get it next (new IP and all!).
I'm still not sure about the 'pat your head and rub your tummy' approach to hacking and shooting tho 🙃

Sweet. I thought I remembered owning the remake on PS3 so downloading it. As much as I'd really like to own the original, £50 up is a lot of money for a game I probably won't play much due me struggling with turn based games (but I really want to try and get used to it).

Xenonauts 2 review - a legally distinct XCOM 3 There’s still no sign of a new XCOM sequel, but this fan made homage is the next best thing, in what is a de facto remake of the original UFO: Enemy Unknown game.

I remember having the original XCOM on the family PC, and while it was the complete opposite of the type of games I liked, I really wanted to like it but I struggled. Turn base, ugh.
But it's really making me want to go back and give it another go.

Thats a shame about Darwins Paradox. I always liked the look of it despite not being the biggest fan of 2D games, but I enjoyed what I played of the demo last night so I was going to order the rather expensive LRG physical version but Im not paying that for a 5/10 6 hour game..

This really took me aback when I first watched it, and it soon became one of my holy trinity of modern sci-fis, along with Interstellar and Edge of Tomorrow to watch on a weekend when I was at a low point several years ago

Tom Cruise's sci-fi gem OBLIVION received its London premiere on this day in 2013.

We're big fans of the movie here at We Watch Film HQ. The design, the music, and Cruise! Plus it's always great to have an original sci-fi movie hit the big screen.

Yeah I saw before we came. It was already windy when we got here, about 20mph. But it's saying it'll almost reach 30 tonight so we'll see. The Met office state the likelihood is low 🙄

I should note this is my first time walking/hiking so I have to be prepared, even best clothes on a night I like to take more than I need.
Also this is my first time in the Lake District, which has been on my bucket list for some time and now I'm happy to be going with my girlfriend ☺️

Me travelling lightly for 3 days in the Lake District 🤣 Suitcase with clothes, rucksack with walking shoes/clothes and waterproofs, a rucksack full of whisky/ beers 😆 a gym bag with 3 pairs of DC Shoes, and unfortunately no donuts but my best coat and a few different caps 🤣

Gutted. I had an email earlier that my Abe figure was expected to be delivered today, but it didnt turn up (Royal Mail of course not!). Im going to the Lake District in the morning so I won't see it until I get back on Monday

I value a good story in a game, but Screamers is just down right annoying, boring and fucking drags on far too long like Kojima was behind it! I tried to follow it, but come on, a complex story in a racing game! Im glad I can skip it!
