Huge number of day trippers today too. Which never helps the atmosphere.

Tbh it was mostly at Onana taking aeons to get the ball in play. He’s beginning to do our heads in.

I agree about the singing at the end but it was quiet in the ground today with very little singing and a totally flat atmosphere. But that doesn’t excuse the performance.

I was there are was telling an 11 year old about it at the game tonight! It was 3-1 Sheringham scored our goal. It was 1998. I can honestly say we didn’t regret losing that game 😉
Btw that was United’s first game without Kiddo as he’d gone off to manage Blackburn.

‘Dealing’ with mental health issues are rarely that simple.

As I said for the last 18 months something has been seriously wrong with Marcus. Being a professional sportsman and not having any money worries doesn’t mean he can’t feel isolated and alone. And the abuse he’s suffered even from match going fans has been awful.

Seemed like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. I still think he’s the most talented player in the squad, but for his sake I think it’s time for him to go. But it is all very very sad 😢
