You could help Armenians more by ceasing your support for the genocidal apartheid state of Israel. It armed Azerbaijan with drones to accomplish its ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, which served as a test run for the use of drones for the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

background: pink with red title that says Happy Easter and little stars around it. in the center, there’s a basket with poppies and Easter eggs that feature designs that say real safety, housing for all, and fast and free buses.
There is no resurrection without death. There is no birth without labor. There is no transformation without letting go.
Easter comes after the painful and holy and hard metamorphosis of what was before. But when it comes, it changes everything. Everyone is fed. Everyone is housed. Everyone is free.
And baby ravens.
Meme with image of a scene from the Bad Bunny halftime show from the 2026 Super Bowl, featuring Bad Bunny giving his Grammy to his younger self (a child approximately 7 years old), while he puts his left hand on the smiling boy’s head. The legs of the child’s parents, sitting on a couch, are visible on the left. Text on the left says, “Angelenos wait for the tide of change signaled by the Green Party victory in the UK to reach Los Angeles.” The caption for Bad Bunny reads, “Hannah Spencer, elected Member of Parliament, 26 February 2026.” The caption for Bad Bunny’s younger self reads, “Rae Huang, elected Mayor of Los Angeles, 2 June 2026.”
The pastor and the plumber.
Hannah Spencer won about 40% more votes than the Reform Party candidate, while Labour, the party that has abandoned the working class voters of Gorton and Denton who had been loyal to them for ages, came in **3rd place**!

Something brilliant is happening. 🌻
Congratulations to MP-elect Hannah Spencer for taking the UK Green Party to victory in Gorton and Denton! The working-class plumber defeated both Reform and Labour in the by-election.
Its official... RAE HUANG IS ON THE BALLOT! [Image of Rae Huang]
We are officially on the ballot.
Our campaign will continue to fight for the Angelenos who are the cornerstone of our diverse and radiant city.
Election Day is on June 2, 2026. See you at the polls 🌞
We need more housing across Los Angeles. As mayor, I will faithfully implement SB79’s community protections while ensuring we are increasing our housing supply.
Every Angeleno deserves a safe and affordable home, and SB79 is one of the many pathways that will make this a reality.
Los Angeles is ready for bold, transformational change. Join the movement at raeforla.com
Rae Huang inside the Wiltern in Los Angeles talking with her hand on her chest, amongst a small crowd of fellow organizers, one on their phone to the left, and another to the right jubiliantly making an exclamation, a red table is in the background
LA mayoral candidate Rae Huang smiling towards the camera with the Wiltern stage in the background, other people nearby are standing, many photographers are present. The banner onstage reads Billionaire Tax Now - Vote Yes 11/3/26 - billionairetaxnow.org
Closeup of Bernie Sanders onstage giving a speech at the Billionaire Tax rally at the Wiltern, he is raising his right hand and talking into a mic while standing at a podium
It was so inspiring to be together with fellow Angelenos who are fighting for the livelihood and dignity of working families. We have enough wealth in our state for everyone to thrive. It’s time we share that wealth.
I'm fully endorsing SEIU-UHW's Billionaire Tax for California. Tax the Rich!
An image of a post on X by @spencerpratt, candidate for LA Mayor: “Lapd needs to reprioritize 911 response. 2 man patrol cars should handle all calls with a suspect still at scene. Any 911 call where the suspect is gone and requires a police report should be handled from a single man patrol car, what lapd calls U-boats.” - 2:25 PM, 2/18/26
Meme using an image from the 1981 film, Das Boot. A crew member is captioned: “Does this mean we can reduce the LAPD budget and fund city services?” The captain of the U-Boat is captioned: “Quiet … Can you hear those news reports about retail theft?” A crew member behind the captain is captioned: “Department stores can’t afford security guards.”
Your LAPD is collaborating with ICE, as they threaten to arrest protesting students and their parents. As Mayor, you are acting as an enemy of liberation, and a facilitator of ICE’s oppression.
“Don't worry about your children, they're gonna be all right. Don't hold them back if they want to go to jail. For they are doing a job not only for themselves but for all of America and for all mankind. Somewhere we read, ‘A little child shall lead them.’”

Tomorrow, nine Stay in LA-sponsored motions that we endorse go up for a vote. Contact your local LA City Councilmember to make sure the city votes in our favor.
Let’s bring Hollywood home.
You cannot claim to be restructuring city government while silencing the voices of the people. As I began to speak to the charter commission tonight on its stalled police accountability reforms, they cut the mic.
Watch the moment the Commission chose bureaucracy over the community. (1/3)
We’re canvassing again this Sunday in Silverlake at Bellevue Park! Starting 11:30AM, all experience levels welcome.
How do we win housing for all, fast and free buses, and a people’s budget? By building a city-wide movement, door by door. Just bring curiosity, empathy, and your love for LA!
Image of “Spiderman pointing at Spiderman” meme. The text superimposed over the Spiderman on the left is: “Karen Bass: Higher LAPD budgets, Homeless sweeps, Pro-Israel.” The text superimposed over the Spiderman on the right is: “Nithya Raman: Higher LAPD budgets, Homeless sweeps, Pro-Israel.”
In @raeforla.bsky.social’s campaign for mayor, Angelenos wanting a brighter, more livable city have the genuine, progressive article:
🏡 Social housing
🚍 Fast/safe/free transit
🌻 Living wages with dignity for all
Accept no imitations.
Image of a post on X by @RoofLesser: “CD4 swept me 3 times in 3 months. I called the office and said hey can u ask someone from DSA to help me move so I can comply and they said no”
While she did vote against 41.18, it simply isn’t true that Nithya doesn’t clear encampments. I recommend following @RoofLesser if you’re on X. She posts here, too, as roof.bsky.social, but not nearly as often. Here’s an illuminating thread on her experiences with CD4:

Doesn’t make Nithya look good either.
Sure, if you like candidates who run as progressives on promises like reining in police abuses, who then trash those promises once elected — for instance, voting to increase an already-bloated LAPD budget — then Nithya is your candidate.
In the 2026 mayoral election, we have a choice between raeforla.bsky.social — with her vision for a livable city — or a MAGA influencer, the failed leadership of Bass, or now, Bass #2.
🤪
Uh oh, now we’ve got to worry about Nithya? bsky.app/profile/awal...
You were right! Horvath sticking to Sups.Yay, I’m relieved!
This is why DSA-LA is problematic. It won’t hold accountable the politicians it backs. It’s not monolithic, and there are some great folks there, but the chapter as a whole needs a major change of direction.
That was fast. Caruso was even on TV yesterday saying he was reconsidering. Adam Miller appears to have donated profusely to establishment Dems, like Harris, Swalwell — even Karen Bass in the last mayor’s race — as well as state Dem parties. Not expecting much of substance from him.
If Caruso enters the race, I think that reduces the chances of Horvath doing so. Her path to victory would be more difficult, and like you said, she’ll want to keep the power she wields on the Board of Sups.
